I like that it’s capable of fitting a variety of lowers, (15,10,9 etc) but, I don’t like how it will only fit certain brands or design of lower

The jig and instructions are perfect! My technique less than…always remember to tighten the collet on your router! No fault of the jig or instructions!

Have completed to forged and two polymer lowers. Hade to modify jig for one of the polymer lowers, but worked gine.

This jig worked perfectly for me. The lower that I had was a little tricky to get set up in the jig but ones I had it set it was good to go. I am getting ready to do the AR-9 and hopefully that sets in perfect.

This review is for the very first AR platform I’ve built and decided to take on the final milling process as well. The jig worked flawlessly the add on tool kit provided everything needed to properly complete the milling process with exception to a router and drill. I started the milling using an older craftsman full size 1.5hp router and it worked but not well probable cause is worn bearings. I was getting a lot of chatter which shows up in the final finish. I finished the process using a 1hp Bosch palm router and it went flawlessly much easier and smother. The jig works, follow the instructions take your time and you’ll end up with fully functioning tight tolerance AR lower. No complaints but with no basis of comparison either. I’m looking forward to my next build using this jig.

There jig and lowers are good quality the lower they are $120 or what ever they are with the stainless set screw instead of a roll pin is nice. Milled one and it came out perfect

JT lowers fit perfect in their Jig. Even other brand lowers fit in this Jig with a little imagination. If you are planning to use this jig my only suggestion is to put some painters tape on all the contacting surfaces of your lower before you assemble the jig to reduce marking up your lowers painted contact points.. The steel bushings integrated into the drill holes on the jig is a nice design feature.

I really like the tool overall but for a home user I think the drill guides could be twice as thick to ensure the alignment is right on. I had to replace one side of my jig as some chips got lodged in the guide hole and mad the bit wear the hole out making it oblong and moving the trigger pin hole enough to ruin the lower with stock trigger group. a drop in trigger solved the problem. if the drill guides were hardened or replaceable like these lee valley knurled drill guide bushings it would be much better. https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/hardware/jig-and-fixture-parts/40089-drill-guide-bushings

Instructions were fairly easy to understand and skill level is moderate. The only problem is the drill holes for safety did not align exactly.

I had doubts at first using that tough jig. All hole was perfectly aligned and sides. Just to let others know that Daytona Tactical 80% lowers fit the Juggernaut tactical jig perfectly. Need to be carefully open minded and creatively handle this jig. Will definitely purchase future products with this company. Thanks Juggernaut Tactical for a great product. Standby for me to purchase a lot of drill and mill bits.

The jig was easy to use. The trigger slot was a little loose but that is just cosmetic and won’t cause an issue.

Very satisfied with this jig, I have had it for a few years now and have really had a lot of fun with it. Learned a lot. Was very easy to understand and made everything very simple for me, I am not an expert, but I enjoyed making a few pretty cool custom builds.

Jig is built very well and easy to use. It's a Heavy Duty Tool to help individuals complete their 80% project.

I was not confident after watching some reviews. One reveiw in particular bashing this jig literally led me to buy. This jig is perfect and dead accurate. Any imperfection was %100 my error. And I immediately noticed and produced my first %80 to %100 function.

It works and it's extremely well made and rugged. It could be better, way better, by simply redesigning it to get the cutting bit shorter. The bit is super long and easy to break at the collar... it needs to be shorter and could be. The bits are expensive and need to be ordered.

With a little bit of common sense or mechanical inclination, you can machine the Fire control pocket and drill the pin holes much cleaner than other jigs I’ve used. One of the more cautionary things would be to make sure that your router accepts a 5/16 end mill.

I used this on an ep 9mm lower and am now using it without any problems. This jig works great!

Bought this jig about ten years ago now. And it is still the best jig available. Hands down love this thing. Replace your bits and she'll keep pumping them out year after year. Get one before it's too late.

I love the jig ease of use and all parts are there to complete machining lower!. Just accuracy of drill hole placement is in need of refining!. And a descriptive instructions detailed user guide would be nice. Over all l will continue to enjoy using it!.

I have had several other jigs for doing the finishing work on the 80% AR lowers. This is simple to use and is consistently the most accurate one I have used.

The jig works great, both for 10's & 15's. One thought, the depth gauge could use a little better engineering for ease of use, and especially accuracy. It's just a bit flimsy when compared to the rest of the components.

Have used it for one 15 and one 10 lower. Both came out amazing. Very sturdy when put together. Highly recommend.

I have built 8 lowers with this jig and I find it very close to mil-spec and very easy to use.

One of the inserts for the trigger pin guide seems to be miss aligned. I had to fill in the drilled hole on the lower and redrill using the partially installed trigger as a guide.

To be honest the first lower was a test run. It turned out okay and made a nice weapon. Over the next few I realized there isn't enough surface area for the router so it would tend to lean and not make a clean cut. We put some angle iron ledges to support router and all is good. The jig itself works great for 15 and 10 lowers. If you use a full size router, stability can be an issue. I would buy again but in the state I live in, hairlip and sideshow are making it impossible to exercise our God given rights. Making what they call " ghost guns" illegal.

The instructions are garbage. Clean this up please!!

honestly a brilliant piece of tooling that has been used and abused but very little wear when used properly. higher recommended, especially because the modularity between different caliber builds.

I have only used it for an AR10 build so far, but it worked so well for the AR10 I plan a AR15 build soon. I saw a YouTube vid that trashed this jig. But having had machining experience in the past, it became obvious the user didn't know what he was doing. That said, I do recommend using a drill press for accuracy and ease of drilling out the big pocket. I also recomend when using the router to mill out the pockets, you find the drill hole to drop the end mill in before turning on the router. I could see a few broken end mills if you don't. I will also look at if I can drill out the trigger slot before milling. It would be helpful to have a third hand to turn on the router while you position and hold it with 2 hands. But 1 person can do it. Overall, it is very well-built and does the job nicely. I can see someone building a few dozen rifles with this jig.

Locks the lower in very solid and appears built to last. Very little wear.

I have used jig twice. One ar-15 lower, and one ar-10 lower. Both came out perfect.

Easy to use. Purchased some little LED flashlights from Harbor Freight and they work great in place of the light. Would recommend getting some backup bolts just in case of accidentally milling them.

My Ultimate Jig has done an AR10 and 8 AR15's and is still in great shape. Highly recommended!

This could use some revisions to make it better. It should come with spacers for the bottom two bolts to keep the 2 pcs parallel when tightening. I made my own and it helped a lot. Also, the 5/32" and 3/8" drilling guides could be made from a harder material and it would be worth while to make them longer. I made my own on my lathe and pressed them in to make for better alignment while drilling. The guides for milling the pockets are to tall. I ended up laser cutting flat plates to replace them and work much better and allow you to have a better view of your work piece when milling. It works to get the job done but could definitely be better.

The only issue I had was not with the jig but with the tools I had on hand for the milling. The jig worked perfectly and everything worked great after buying different milling bits.

Overall this is a good product. My only disappointment is with the drill jigs for the pockets. Being made of aluminum, they tend to wear after only2 or so lowers allowing the bits to wander. It seems they would be better with a hardened insert, or the entire block being made of tool steel.

Jig works perfectly. It is well built and well designed. I have completed a couple so far with zero issues.

The jig is very well constructed, simple to use and allows the use of any router. The tooling is of very good quality and replacement parts are available for a very reasonable price. The only slight issue I've had it the side pl,ate bolts are just a hair too long, but the fix for that is just a matter filing the bolts down about 1/32 of an inch so the plates can tighten down all the way. That's not a big deal and I'd rather that than the bolts being too short. My overall experience has been great and Zack has always responded to any questions I've had. I am very pleased and highly recommend this jig for anyone looking to mill an 80% AR lower. By the way I live on the east coast and it only took a week or less to have the jig as well as following orders delivered to my door step; that's the way to run a business.

Everything worked great

I love this jig setup it makes everything fit nice and tight after cutting. I just wish it was made to cut other brand of 80% lowers, I had to modify my two side plates to fit a lower I got somewhere else but after I did that it did a really good job.

it will get you really close but i needed alot of fine tuning to get the trigger to fit right

I brought a jig from another website that said there jig was made to mil spec standards and this is why I am completing this review. This jig from Jtactical was made for diy people like me who likes thing easy and simple to use. My build looks and operates great, I didn't have to call customer service because this jig was easy to use.

Well, this is a very cool tool, I would only recommend some instruction to be placed with it! I thought I was on a roll only to find out I had it reversed! Oops, had to purchase another 80% to get it right!
