AR-45 80% Lower Receiver

Got the stripped lower for a 45 build. Had a couple questions, and the staff answered them right away! Great quality so far and super lightweight, I’m going to order more from them from now on!

Product arrived fast and in perfect condition. Mag stop had to be removed for work to be completed on a 5 D tactical jig, but was easy to reinstall. Ambidextrous bolt release is a great added addition to all of the other features of this lower. Very solid product with an excellent finish, fits right to my build with a QC 10 upper. All other lower parts fit nicely and I am extremely happy and will return for future builds.

I was really excited when I received my 80% lower. It appeared to be really high quality workmanship, and I was looking forward to building my AR-45. After completing the lower, i was so impressed with the apparent quality of the lower that I ordered a complete AR-45 upper from Juggernaut. When it arrived, it appeared to be of the same quality and craftsmanship. I assembled the weapon, and that's when i started noticing some issues. upon assembly, I realized that the Glock mags I had purchased really had to be slammed into the gun to get them to lock into place. I thought maybe this will free up with some range time, so off to the range I went. The gun fired well with no issues, until the magazine was empty. The bolt did not lock back. The next magazine emptied and the bolt did lock back, but just barely. Using the same 3 mags (numbered), the LRBHO worked about 10% of the time or less. even placing an empty mag in the weapon and pulling the bolt back, the LRBHO doesn't engage most of the time. It appears to be a poor design and just doesn't have the strength to lift the bar up and catch the bolt. With just a little finger help it will pop up into place, but that is not practical. I still like the weapon a whole lot, and love shooting it, but it definitely has its issues. The mags never got any easier either, and you have to wiggle the mag with one hand and push the release button with the other to get it to let go once it is seated.

Machined lower on a 5 D Tact. Pro Jig, works great according to the nice guy in Ukraine that's using it. Like it very much. The Russians, not so much.

The 80% JT-45 is very high quality, with excellent fit and finish. The ambi bolt release and LRBHO mechanisms both work flawlessly, bonus features I haven’t seen elsewhere in 80%. I milled it using another manufacturer’s jig I already owned, but it fit perfectly and came out great. The laser cut logo and flag are a bit much with the white background, but nothing that can’t be adjusted with a little detail painting to tone it down… Do I recommend it? Well, I’ve recently also ordered both the JT-9 and JT-15 in 80% form, so that’s a resounding Yes!

If you're considering building your own AR-45 buy the best. Jtactical matched sets are less likely to fail. It costs less to put it together right, than cobbling it all together, just to find it doesn't meet your expectations. Building a PCC you want to use components from the same company to ensure a better match. Those components are Upper/Lower, Barrel and bolt carrier group. I especially like you can get answers for your build from Jtactical.

All the little extras that make a big deal during assembly and maintenance makes these lowers the best for any AR build

My build was perfect. Perfect fit 360 degrees. Not one issue other than the Bolt catch won't work on the Drum Mag because the followup is too low to catch the bolt.

I usually build the finest hand built custom precision firearms you can buy. Items selling for $5000, $6000, or as much as $8000 a piece. I decided, just for fun, to build a PCC 45 to just throw some lead and have fun. I am proud to say I used the AR-45% Model JT-45 Lower and their upper as well. By far some of the best quality I have seen. The machining was flawless. The tolerances were perfect. No slop, no wiggle. Supreme product. If you're looking for the best on the market, don't pass this one up.
